Yoga
Helen Loo, CYT 200, teaches a dynamic breath-aligned vinyasa class based upon a foundations-to-flow training. Her playful style blends strength, flexibility, balance and grace combined with a strong emphasis on alignment. She aspires to create a safe, adaptable and therapeutic space allowing students to explore poses and the mind-body connection. Informed by her exposure to numerous yoga disciplines and continual dedication to yoga education, Helen enjoys assisting others towards health and self-discovery; it is her wish to share the profound sense of internal freedom, spaciousness and dance of life she finds within yoga derived from dancing with the breath and she endeavors to inspire others to live each moment in stillness while attuned to one’s own natural rhythm.
Helen is deeply grateful for her teachers along the way, not the least which include her students. She has taught in various studios, clubs, fitness centers, corporate offices and private settings. As a professional vocalist and performer, she acknowledges and appreciates this other dimension to her as an integrative aspect of her mind-body-spirit practice and vehicle of service to others.
